چکیده
The research focuses on the tailing dump, which is located in Norilsk industrial region’s (Northern Siberia) territory. difficulty of precisely calculating period tailings consolidation presented itself to authors while they conducted improving technological parameters alluvium. Without resolving this issue, it impossible improve technology In order assure safety and efficiency at all phases construction strengthen stability examined tailings, a sophisticated set model tests calculations was conducted. This work provided foundation for modifying techniques. method defining maximum density optimum humidity, when formation geotechnical massif dam’s inwash occurs, has been devised basis laboratory testing. findings from study may be effectively used as building dams.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Determination of Compaction Characteristics of Maiduguri Soil
-Compaction is one of the efficient ways to improve the strength and stiffness properties of soils, such as elasticity modulus and shear modulus. Moreover, compaction decreases soil settlement, improves bearing capacity and the stability of sloped embankments. An optimum water content is required to provide the best path to enter energy into soil and compact it. A constant value of energy appli...
متن کاملStepwise helix formation and chain compaction during protein folding.
O ne of the persistent problems in protein folding is understanding the relative importance of secondary and tertiary structure formation. Elements of secondary structure are stabilized primarily by interactions among amino acids that are close in sequence, whereas tertiary structure is supported by interactions among more distant segments of the chain. Therefore, it is reasonable to assume tha...
متن کاملSpectral Characteristics of Saturated Links
Abstract— Internet protocols frequently create periodic patterns in traffic. Examples included packets paced by bottleneck links, periodic exchange of information such as routing, transport-layer effects such as TCP self-clocking, and application-level effects. Although measurement of such periodicities could shed light on Internet traffic, current understanding of periodic behavior in general ...
